At Hole in the Wall Seafood, you can eat freshly caught seafood harvested by their very own fishing fleet. They specialize if fresh oysters, grouper as well as shrimp. For a casual lunch, we recommend A Slice of Apalachicola. This place makes authentic Wood-fired artisan pizza. It also has a great selection of craft beers on tap and their house made desserts are truly something special!
Where To Stay: If you enjoyed your pizza at A slice of Apalachicola you will be glad to know that you can stay up above it at Slice of Apalachicola Suites! Its owned by the same couple who own the restaurant below. You will love staying in this historic building with an exposed brick kitchen, large luxurious bed, and beautiful Bay front view. It's also centrally located downtown and is within walking distance of everything. Make sure you call ahead and make reservations ahead of time though as this is the only room available!

If you are looking for more secluded romantic getaways in Florida Cabbage key is a lush privately owned island near Ft Myers that can only be accessed by either a boat or by taking a ferry from Pine Island. There are no cars or even roads on the island. The only buildings consist of a historic Inn and restaurant and a few charming rental cottages.

If you like European food and a hot cup of tea served in a beautiful teapot then go to Marie D' Anna Cafe. This Polish- American restaurant will have you feeling like you stepped into a European fairy tale! As they say on their website, "They specialize in Homemade food filled with love and happiness." I would recommend this place for brunch/ Lunch. The food is beautiful, elegant, and fabulous! Your tea (or coffee) is served in a charming little teapot with cup and saucer. It's just such a unique place. people who stumble across it return again and again. It's even received the TripAdvisor's award of excellence. Just go try it! You won't be disappointed!
