Finns Island Style Grill

First in my list of casual Panama City Beach restaurants is Finns Island Style Grill. It doesn't get any more casual than a food truck in the parking lot of the favorite local surf shop!  This funky little place is seriously popping with some incredibly flavorful food! They are famous for their fish tacos, which are amazing, but my personal favorite is the island style nachos with blackened shrimp. Seating is outside on picnic tables under a canopy. So be prepared to eat with the salty wind in your hair and smiles on your face. No shoes no shirt? No problem!

Big Apple Turkey From Liza's Kitchen

While you may need shoes and a shirt for our next restaurant this place has such a good feeling and great hippie/ bohemian vibe you won't even notice. Liza's kitchen has been a local favorite since it opened. This place is more of a gourmet sandwich shop but it is so good a long time friend who visited me from up north actually tried to talk them into mailing her food cause she craved it so much!  My favorites include the hippie chick and the big apple turkey with their homemade soup of the day as the side.

Sisters Of The Sea Grill And Grog

Looking for someplace slightly more upscale? Sisters Of The Sea Grill And Grog still has a casual feel but with seriously beautiful food that is well...I don't even have words for it good! Try the star-liner (my favorite) and finish up with their signature fried strawberries. They are seriously the things dreams are made of!  

If you love Italian or just an incredible hand made pizza you must be sure to have at least one meal at Panama Pizzeria. It's Panama City Beach's own New York style Italian bistro. They use fresh ingredients and are far superior to any of the local chain pizzerias. After all, we are keeping it local right?

If you love health food and serene gardens check out the lotus cafe.  They have a variety of healthy menu items that focus more towards vegan and vegetarian options as well as smoothies, juices, and even wheat grass shots! The restaurant has a zen feel and lots of tropical plants and fauna. They even offer yoga classes, have their own organic market, and a koi pond. This place will definitely leave you feeling relaxed and renewed from the inside out.

Fine Dining Restaurants

No vacation is complete without having at least 1 or 2 upscale dining experiences (at least that's how I always plan it) One of my favorite Panama City Beach restaurants to go to on special occasions is Salt Water Grill.  This place has a stunning 25,000-gallon aquarium that is the focal point of the whole restaurant. You can dine either in the larger cafe or the more intimate mermaid room. They even have a piano bar which features local pianist Michael Morah.

For the ultimate Panama City Beach restaurant fine dining indulgence the FireFly is one of the most beautiful and romantic places to dine in Panama City Beach. It has a Mediterranean feel and in the center of the room is a gorgeous grand oak tree strung with twinkling lights giving it the appearance of fireflies in its branches. It gives the place a romantic softly lit almost magical atmosphere. That combined with their award winning food will make this one of the best memories of your beach vacation getaway. reservations are definitely recommended and can be made right from their website.
